Yesterday, it was Lai shun chiat’s birthday. We celebrated his birthday (or did we?) at Mcdonald’s. Later that evening, we even took a walk at taman tasik titiwangsa. Lai tengah terangan-angan when we saw a newly-wed couple taking a photo shoot at that gaden. He is imagining himself with her. Hahaha….

On the last weekday of my holidays (23th May 2008), my father brought us to Koh Phuket or known as Phuket Island. We left home around 10am to arrive in time at noon. Our flight AK 872 left kuala lumpur at 12:45pm. We arrived at phuket international airport at 1:45pm Malaysian time but 12:45pm local time. Thailand is one hour behind malaysian time. We reached Hilton Arcadia Phuket with the help of Mr. Yong, the taxi driver. Mr. Yong is a Siamese hokkien Chinese and he told us his grandfather came from penang island. On the first day, we went for swimming. Before that, we had a tea break at Sails. I had snapper and it was surprisingly large in portion. During night, we went to Patong beach for a while. The streets are very busy. We went there by a thuk-thuk. On the street, we saw paintings, clothes, and many more. When we are eating in Savoey, one of the famous phuket diners, we saw people boxing on Lorries. Can you imagine that? Before the journey home, we even saw a red light street full of brothel and strip shows.

On the next day, my father and sisters went to island hopping with me. We took off 11 am on a speed boat to Koh Khai. Khai means egg in thai. The beach of Koh Khai Nuk is very beautiful especially the sands are white and soft as flour. The sea is so clear when we snorkel around and we can see the chorals and the fishes. I saw a clown fish too. We left the beach around 5pm where we took lunch, swim and played around. Later, at night, me and the whole family went to dinner at a nearby local dining area called green chili. I slept around midnight.

On the last day, I woke up quite late, left for breakfast at this hotel at Kata Beach. After a swim, we left for the airport around 1pm. Finally, the plane took off for Kuala Lumpur. I had Nasi Lemak on the flight. At 7pm Malaysian time, we reached the Low Cost Carrier Terminal. Lastly, we had dinner with my uncle somewhere around KL Central. It is indeed a great experience. I seemed to realise people in Thailand like to use the word “same same”.

I am facing a deep dilemma, had my computer reformatted, lost a final and rushing through many things. By the way, I am going Phuket tomorrow. Update soon. Take Care!
